Awesome...I always think: we can handle anything until we think about it! This goes for everything in life especially the martial arts. I always see myself doing so well in the form until I start thinking about it. Of course there is a time to think, like when I first start learning a form and then once I get the movements down I can then begin to let my thoughts go and allow the movement and spirit move through me. I believe this is the ultimate change; being able to feel the feeling, then letting go, and then just being in that moment of the movement and letting whatever energy comes up to flow by first settling then releasing. :)

Wow... I had a lot on my mind, and as I read this it just all drifted away. It gave me the ability to just say, "Hey, shut up thoughts, lets go with it and see what happens". Truly well written.

Yeah Chris, fear complicates things...I'd say fear in front is a formidable barrier, but if we can slip it in our back pocket, fear can be a driving force.

Me too Mr. Matz. The murmuring thoughts, questions, answers, ideas, wonders...drift into silence. Soon I'll have nothing to say ;)

I have found that zhan zhuang and taijiquan practice is very helpful is clearing my mind.

It's not so much that I find answers to things, but rather the questions just sort of fade away.
