At Least Read This Bit…

Some of what follows is the legal mumbo-jumbo that many readers will pass over (we’ve seen too much of that garbage), but I include it for self-protection and for a sort of ridiculous keep-sake.

The following 7 key pieces concern daily reading, for normal, kind, careful people. (If you’re here for darker reasons like hacking or something goofy, then read the legals bit, damn it.)

1. The trust of my readers and the larger community is the most important bit for me.
2. I treat others with respect. I may attack ideas and movements, but not people or beings. I accept the same treatment, and I expect readers and contributors to behave the same way.
3. I do my best to support various intellectual property rights. I may provide links, credits, and cite sources of inspiration.
4. Material relationships, policies, and business practices are clearly disclosed. My readers will know the difference between editorial, advertorial, and advertising, should I choose to have it. If I do sponsored or paid posts (I don’t yet and I’m not sure that I ever will), they are clearly marked.
5. Any advertising or marketing collaborations used by me are professional and honest. Even my Google and Facebook ads go right where you’d expect them to, never to any weird links or shifty pages.
6. I present honest opinions and experiences, and I maintain strict journalistic standards.
7. Currently, I own my words. They are copyrighted. I reserve the right to switch over to a creative commons license.

I expect the same from each individual author who writes for RealTaiji.com. And I expect the same of readers and commentators.

Termination/Access Restriction

General to the maximum extent permitted by law, this agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Montana, U.S.A. and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in Ravalli County, Montana, U.S.A. in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of the RealTaiji.com Web Site.
