Wild Turkey Crosses Road

Someone created the postures and the names of each and every Tai Chi pose.
What could be the inspiration for Stork Spreads Wings?
Perhaps that guy (or gal) had a lot of Storks in the backyard.
Wild Turkey Struts
It seems delightfully strange…
My wife drove through town yesterday: through Hamilton, Montana.
She was force to stop because wild turkeys were crossing the road. Check out the photo above. See the young man encouraging their crossing?
Proud birds, we find them all over in various places we drive…
- on the way to Blodgett Campground
- up West Fork Road
- (and now) in Town
I began wondering…
Why Not?
Why not encourage more and more wild animal populations right in town, side by side with us civilized species?
It’s at least fun, but maybe, even better: we could have the opportunity to dream up new Taiji movements.

Ha: you bet… and on another note: I’m quite fond of imagining Chickadees where one often thinks about Swallows.
Well from what I understand, you can go to Alaska and have all them in your yard at some point or other…bears, moose, elk and more Im sure! People moving farther into the animals habitat has never fared well for the animals. However, just imagine…going out in the morning and before you get all the way to your car there stands a big- I mean BIG 7′ tall Bull moose standing there eating your flower garden, looking at you like, are you going to the car or back inside? Yeah it is cool in a way (this happened to me in Victor Montana) its also really dumb to get that close.
Here a couple years back we had a cougar walking down the main street in Darby, caught it on camera. peoples dogs and cats were going missing for a bit before it was ever sighted. I wouldnt want to be out there with him Im sure, thanks anyways. Living out here though has been a blessing that we have so much (in the way of wildlife) right outside our back door to look at and appreciate in all its glory.
What if your neighbors act like a bunch of apes?

Rick, Wow!
Not as cool as turkeys. Thanks goodness: turkeys have no thumbs.
Arlie: time for some sword form, eh?!
“Wild Turkey Crosses Road?”
Suddenly we’re learning Drunken Fist!
Hah! I suppose: it is Montana… there’s more than one Wild Turkey roaming these streets.
